Archery Retreat is a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse set within the planned coastal development of Burton St Leonards, one of the most architecturally distinctive areas on the south coast.

Built in the early 19th century as part of James Burton’s vision for a refined seaside town, the house forms part of a wider composition of buildings designed with proportion, symmetry and a strong relationship to the surrounding landscape.

From Georgian Townhouse to Creative Space

Over time, the building has evolved in use.
